I'm writing daily this month on being interrupted by grace. Learn more and join in here.
Colin and I got to go the Pirates' home opener today!
While we were there, Cory and Allisa, a lovely young couple from church, took care of our children. They are not the first couple from our community group to watch our children for us so we can go out. And I have a feeling they will not be the last.
Today, God's reminding me of the blessedness of being part of His church, not only the opportunities to serve, but to be served. There's part of me that always feels bad asking people to watch my kids. I don't really know why, but I'll bet it has something to do with my pride.....
Anyway, I'm humbled today by how they cared for us.
The kids had SUCH a blast!
So did we. :)
Katherine at her first baseball game!
So happy you got to go.... Katherine is so cute hanging on to Daddy's shoulder... but i'll have to admit ... I can't take my eyes off that mowing job!ReplyDelete
WOW! Who won? Who'd we play?
We lost 1-0 to the Phillies. Too many Phillies fans in the stands for my taste; but they were nice - we had some on either side of us. I joked with Colin that they should have charged them muzungu prices at concession! :)Delete
