Add on top of that new traditions and what should be a "peaceful" season suddenly overwhelms and stresses us out. <br /><br />I would love to bake cookies, put up Christmas decorations like I used to but ... as I stare at our lighted, undecorated tree with dinner in the oven, I am simply enjoying the quiet and calm. Life circumstances are always changing and sometimes we need to be more flexible and let go in order to focus on what truly cries out for our attention. <br /><br />Besides, do I really need more cookies?
